Boudoir is a lot more than just a sexy photoshoot. It is about self expression and self love! In fact, while often times boudoir sessions are given as “gifts” for men for a wedding day gift or an anniversary gift or valentines day gift, I actually think it should be a gift for yourself.  Have you ever noticed that when you look back at photos of yourself when you were younger you look at them with much kinder and more loving eyes? I know personally, I really hated my body in high school, I thought I was ugly and fat and not pretty in the slightest, but now when I look at photos of myself during that time, I can’t help but look at that girl and see how beautiful she really was and wish that I had been kinder to myself and allowed myself the love and respect that girl deserved. Boudoir is a gift to your future self, so you can look back at yourself in these moments and see how beautiful you really are.  Sure, your partner may love getting to look at sexy photos of you, but the person who will likely appreciate them the most is the future you, and the current you!
